AIM AND MISSION 

We provide practical and emotional support services to both adult and young (children) unpaid carers in Bristol and South Gloucestershire.

Our vision is that; ‘Carers will be; identified, recognised, valued, respected and supported in their caring role’

and our mission; ‘To promote the rights and improve the quality of life of children and adult family carers in Bristol and South Gloucestershire.’

STRATEGIC PRIORITIES

Working strategically across health and social care in the delivery of Carers Strategies.

With decision makers to ensure that carers voices are heard in service planning and delivery.

Ensuring that Carers health, wellbeing and resilience are maintained and that they have choice and control over the amount of caring they provide.

Working with primary care and acute trusts to identify carers and that they are valued as ‘expert partners in care’ in hospital discharge panning and decision making.
