AIM AND MISSION

To protect and improve the green spaces within Lyde Green including but not limited to parks and common land, for the benefit of local residents, wildlife and all green space users.

STRATEGIC PRIORITIES

To increase and improve the quality of and access to the green spaces across Lyde Green

To improve the environment in Lyde Green and conserve the wildlife and natural areas.

To increase local awareness and engagement in green spaces and environmental activities. 

To work in partnership with other organisations to achieve the group’s aims and objectives

CASE STUDIES

In 2021 Lyde Green OpenSpace and Livewest organised a joint event to give away Sunflower seeds and pots to local residents to then return them back once grown for us to plant across Lyde Green.

We hold regular community Litterpicks and at one event we worked alongside a community group from Emersons green. We collected over 50 bags of rubbish!
