Our aim is to influences decision making so that people over 50 are
Heard – so they know their issues matter.
Recognised – for their experience and knowledge.
Included – in discussions about issues that affect their lives.
Respected – for holding different views.
Listened to – have a voice that is listened to.
And are seen as a key part of all aspects of life in South Gloucestershire.
Our Mission is to represent the voice, profile, needs and interests of people over 50 through campaigning for inclusion, justice, respect and recognition, and through providing information that enables them to be informed in order to make decisions.
STRATEGIC PRIORITIES
To identify the issues of South Gloucestershire residents, who are over 50, to ensure their social inclusion, be is socially, economically or due to disadvantaged by age, to affect decisions that affect their lives.
To support South Gloucestershire residents, over 50, to have local meeting points to voice their issues and engage with, statutory, and community organisations.
To influence strategic plans, policies and services developed by statutory agencies.
To disseminate information that enables social inclusion.
